Woodblock prints YUMEJI.TAKEHISA

Yumeji Takehisa, who is also famous as a writer with a lot of love, has left many beautiful women's paintings, and is sometimes called "Ukiyo-e artist of the Taisho era" because of his lyrical works. In the era when modernism was established and popular culture began to prosper, it is believed to be influenced by end-of-the-century symbolist works such as Exotics, Art Nouveau, Piersley and Lautrec . Yumeji Takehisa is said to be one of the pioneers of modern Japanese graphic design. At our shop, we introduce hand-dug woodblock prints using Japanese paper("Washi") by Japanese craftsmen.
